This four-day workshop blends cooking, storytelling, and creativity in a warm, engaging atmosphere. Children will explore the basics of food-making and art through hands-on activities that spark imagination and self-expression. Inspired by World Homeless Day (October 10), they will prepare small dishes to share with those in need, fostering empathy and social awareness.

The heart of the program is Grandma’s Recipe Storytelling & Animation, where participants explore Egypt’s culinary heritage by uncovering recipes passed down through generations or drawing inspiration from icons like Ablah Nazeera. Children and teens will share their own family food stories, then transform these dishes into characters through stop-motion animation, creating a collaborative short film that celebrates memory, tradition, and creativity.In connection with World Food Day (October 16), the workshop also highlights the joy of preparing food for oneself, reinforcing the value of self-care and the cultural importance of food in everyday life.

By intertwining cooking, storytelling, and animation, the workshop offers a unique journey that nurtures empathy, honors heritage, and sparks imagination.
